'Nonesuch Houses'' feature buildings that don't actually exist...

... but so convincing is the construction that

you might want to do a 'double take' when viewing them.

The architectural details used to make them up are all taken from various local buildings in the named location.

Often, too busy looking where we are going, we miss the details of familiar buildings we walk or drive past. These visible nuances represent an entertaining feast of past history. It' is the cumulative details that contribute uniqueness to the places we inhabit.

This is an ongoing series of images, visit us again to take another look.

Competition/Laminated Bookmark.

To mark the Bicentenary celebrations of the building of the Two Bridges of Newport Pagnell.

Our creative team created a house made of architectural details to be seen only when travelling routes between the two bridges.

This we turned into an interactive/observation

competition to improve awareness of the historical heritage of Newport Pagnell.

A laminated durable bookmark was produced, complete with a 'spotters' competition sheet on which you could write the location of the numbered details when spotted.

Giclée prints of the house were also made available.
